In this privacy notice, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it. If there are any terms in the this privacy notice the you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.

Note however, if you choose to opt out, you may not be able to use certain Services or we may choose not to provide Services to ensure legal compliance with varying state laws.

Vital Interests: We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.
Business Partners: We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain Services.
Is your information transferred internationally?
Our Services are only intended for people in specific areas in the United States. Our servers are located in the United States. The European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom (UK) may have more comprehensive data protection laws than those in the United States. We cannot provide medical Services to people outside of the United States, but we will however take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this privacy notice and applicable law.
How long do we keep your information?
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer period is required by law (such as medical record keeping requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your information for longer than twelve years.
We when have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
How do we keep your information safe?
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security, and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, transmission or personal information to and from our Website is at your own risk. You should only access the Website within a secure environment.
Do we collect information from minors?
We do not knowingly solicit data from children under the age of 18 years. By using the Website, you represent that you are at least 18. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will that reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. We do however need to maintain information collected from our medical intake form for people seeking care ages 13 through 18 years to ensure compliance with state abortion laws and prevent fraudulent attempts to seek care by potential minors. We will review this information periodically and delete it from our records when no longer necessary to ensure safety of minors.
With the exception of medical records, you can access, delete or update the personal information you have provided on our Website by contacting us at info@abortionondemand.org. Website visitors who do not want their visit data reported by Google Analytics can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. This add-on instructs the Google Analytics JavaScript running on our Website (and other websites) to prohibit sending information to Google Analytic.
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. With the exception of Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
We must maintain limited location tracking should you wish to use our Services in order to comply with state abortion laws. We reserve the right to refuse Services to users we suspect are using a proxy server or VPN (virtual private network) in an attempt to circumvent state law.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, does not apply to our users as we do not disclose your information to third parties other than the purpose of providing direct medical care.
Do we make updates to this notice?
We may update this privacy notice from time to time as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. The updated version will be indicated by an “updated” date, and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
